Which animal has the strongest venom?

Several species are vying for this title.

It is believed that the most toxicity is demonstrated by the box jellyfish Chironex fleckeri (marine stinger), found in the coastal waters of Northern Australia and Southeast Asia.

It competes with frogs from the genus Phyllobates, which are found in the tropical forests of Central and South America, especially the golden poison dart frog — Phyllobates terribilis (in the photo), as well as Pacific pufferfish, commonly known as fugu.

The highest single dose of venom belongs to the taipan: this Australian snake can inject its prey with up to 110 milligrams of venom, which is enough to kill about 100 people.
