A 'lazy' garden is, of course, relative laziness — it implies the use of a no-dig technique. Simply put, you cover last year's beds with a layer of compost and mulch, and then plant in this layer. The initial thickness can be 15-20 centimeters, but as the plants grow, additional layers will be needed. In any case, the amount of work decreases, and it becomes physically easier.
We present to you the 'lazy' top:
1. Radish. In this case, it is better to choose super-early and early varieties.
2. White cabbage. In terms of quality, it can even surpass that grown by traditional methods, however, it will require careful monitoring: with this planting method, it can become an easy target for greedy slugs, so special attention should be paid to combating them.
3. Zucchini. These plants grow without any particular problems in any conditions.
4. Pumpkin. The possibility of obtaining large fruits is quite real.
5. Potatoes. All varieties are generally well-suited for a 'lazy' garden.
