Scientists conducted a survey among two thousand people and discovered an unexpected fact: most respondents feel a decline in concentration and work activity already in the first half of the day. The peak of fatigue occurs around 14:06. This is reported by the publication StudyFinds.
Three quarters of respondents are confident: if they had more energy, they would earn more. 71% believe that energy would make them happier — they would have the opportunity to engage in hobbies and everyday activities after work. When asked how age affects activity levels, 44% responded that it has decreased over time.
18% of respondents, feeling a surge of energy, would prefer to spend time with family and friends. Almost half admit that due to a lack of energy, they do not engage in sports. This, in turn, only exacerbates fatigue.
For many, life after work is minimized: returning home, eating, taking a shower, and going to bed. Fatigue often leads to feelings of guilt: 32% are most upset about giving up physical exercise, while others are concerned about insufficient self-care and household chores.
