Clinical psychologist Elena Ozherelieva claims that laziness helps conserve resources.
According to Elena Ozherelieva, the human body operates in cycles: there are cycles of hunger and satiety, sleep and wakefulness. There are also mental cycles: an active, conscious period and a cumulative one. In the first, there is a significant expenditure of mental energy.
“During the cycle of laziness and inactivity, the psyche accumulates energy for future activity,” notes the specialist.
Moreover, sometimes it is worth allowing oneself to be a little lazy to restore strength, relax, and rest.
