- Eleutherococcus is comparable to ginseng root; it helps to increase energy, performance, and mood. Its roots and rhizomes contain eight biologically active substances, including eleutherosides, essential oils, and resins. A decoction made from the roots and a powder from the stems are used for wound healing, in cases of poisoning by toxic plants, as well as for treating atherosclerosis and rheumatic heart disease.
Elecampane is used as an expectorant, for inflammatory processes of the gastric and intestinal mucosa, for treating wounds, ulcers, and eczema, as well as for diseases of the upper respiratory tract and as a means to stop bleeding.
Rhodiola Rosea, known as golden root, has a more pronounced effect than ginseng root. Preparations based on rhodiola are used for fatigue, malaise, impotence, stomach diseases, and nervous system disorders. To prepare a tincture, take 50 g of roots and 0.5 liters of vodka, infuse for two weeks, and take one teaspoon 1-2 times a day 30 minutes before meals for two months, after which a two-month break is taken before repeating the treatment course.
Before starting use, be sure to consult a doctor!
