- In popular scientific literature, the negative aspects of fertilizers are often exaggerated. Moreover, pesticides and mineral fertilizers should not be compared, as pesticides are synthetic poisons, while mineral fertilizers are a product of living nature.
Researchers believe that it is completely unfounded when the general public and even some specialists, especially medical professionals, have the opinion that all fertilizers are harmful to health. However, it is known that the positive impact of fertilizers significantly outweighs the negative consequences that may arise from their unreasonable use.
Thus, the only correct solution to the problem is not to abandon fertilizers, but to radically improve the technologies for their application.
