What Micellar Water Can Do: 5 Useful Tips for Everyday Use

Micellar water is a skin cleansing agent that contains special particles that effectively remove makeup, moisturize, and tone the face. However, this is not all the advantages of this product. Let’s consider why using micellar water in everyday life is truly a smart solution.

Micellar water consists of micelles — tiny particles that gently remove almost any impurities. This is why micellar water can be used not only for cleansing the skin.

Removing Excess Perfume

If you’ve overdone it with the scent, moisten a cotton pad with micellar water and gently wipe the areas of skin where you applied the perfume. Even a full shower won’t do this job as effectively as micellar water!

Cleaning Makeup Brushes

Regular cleaning of makeup brushes is a must, but some cosmetic products may not wash off easily with regular soap and water. Fill a glass with micellar water to a quarter full and soak the brushes for a few minutes. Then rinse them thoroughly and let them dry.

Removing Makeup Stains from Clothes

Some cosmetic products contain oils that are difficult to wash out with regular detergent. In this case, it’s best to apply micellar water to a cotton pad and blot the stain. If the stain is fresh, there will be no traces left. If the stain has set in, pour micellar water directly onto it, rub, then soak the item in soapy water and wash as usual.

Washing Hands

Frequent hand washing with soap can lead to dry skin. This is a common problem, especially in winter, causing itching and cracks. Try washing your hands a few times with micellar water — it effectively removes impurities and moisturizes the skin.

Cleaning White Sneakers

Owners of white shoes know how difficult it is to keep them clean. Here’s a useful tip: first, treat the sneakers with a dry brush to remove any dirt that hasn’t soaked in, then moisten a cotton pad with micellar water and gently wipe away the stains. After that, leave the shoes to dry and repeat the process if necessary. However, keep in mind — this method is not suitable for suede sneakers!
