Regular use of wet wipes can cause skin diseases and weaken the immune system, said therapist Tatiana Romanenko.
The expert emphasized that antibacterial wipes can lead to the thinning of the skin's protective layer and contribute to the formation of microcracks.
Romanenko warned that wipes cannot replace regular handwashing.
Additionally, she pointed out the improper use of wipes, for example, when hand wipes are used for facial care. Wipes intended for cleaning are categorically unsuitable for use on the body.
The packaging of wipes should be tightly closed, and when choosing a product, it is important to pay attention to the expiration date.
