How to Make a Delicious Poached Egg Using Plastic Wrap

Often, instead of the tender white with a runny yolk, you end up with a failed mass resembling a soft-boiled egg on your plate.

But there is a simple way — try making a poached egg using regular plastic wrap.

To do this, cut a square of wrap and grease it with vegetable oil, which is convenient to do with a pastry brush.

Crack the egg directly onto the wrap, tie the ends into a knot, and place it in boiling water. Cook the poached egg in the wrap for about five minutes.

If you don't have plastic wrap, you can use a regular cellophane bag. An egg cooked this way will not be inferior in taste to dishes prepared by a chef in a restaurant.
