Dandelion jam is a unique preservation that will surely surprise you.
Dandelions are not only bright yellow flowers but also a valuable component for making original jam. This treat has a unique taste and aroma. To prepare it, you will need to collect about two cups of flowers, which should be thoroughly washed under cold water and scalded with boiling water to eliminate bitterness.
Then, the flowers are poured with hot sugar syrup and boiled over low heat for 20-30 minutes. This jam is not only delicious but also healthy, as it contains many vitamins, especially vitamin C, which helps strengthen the immune system. Additionally, it contains antioxidants. However, one should be aware of possible allergic reactions. Adding mint to dandelion jam will give it an interesting and fresh taste. The recipe was presented on the Kolizhanka website.
