Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Spinach and Feta - Recipe for an Exquisite Dish

Chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and feta turn out tender and juicy.

 

If traditional chicken dishes no longer interest you, try making chicken breasts stuffed with spinach and feta. This combination will surprise you with its harmony and flavor. Feta adds juiciness and tenderness to the meat, while spinach becomes incredibly tender and slightly sweet after baking.

Preparing chicken stuffed with feta and spinach does not require special culinary skills — this recipe is suitable even for beginners. The result will exceed all expectations.

Chicken Fillet with Spinach and Feta

Ingredients:

chicken breasts - 4 pcs.;
feta cheese - 250 g;
fresh spinach - 200 g;
onion - 1 pc.;
garlic - 2 cloves;
sunflower oil - 2 tbsp.;
sugar - 1 tbsp.;
spices for chicken to taste.

Preparation:

1. Finely chop the onion and grate the garlic on a fine grater. Heat the oil in a pan. Sauté the onion for 2-3 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for another couple of minutes. Chop the spinach finely. In a large bowl, mix the feta with the sautéed onion and chopped spinach using a fork. Add a tablespoon of sugar to the filling.

2. Cut the chicken breasts lengthwise to create thin fillets. Pound the meat on both sides. Season the chicken with spices on one side. Place the breasts on a baking sheet with the seasoned side down.
On one half of the fillet, place the filling and cover it with the other half on top.

3. Place the baking sheet with the chicken in a preheated oven at 200°C. Bake the chicken breasts with feta for about 20 minutes. Serve with any side dish or vegetable salad.

This recipe can also be used to make chicken rolls with feta by cutting the breasts into thin cutlets. Wrap the filling in the cutlets, secure with toothpicks, and fry in a pan for 3 minutes on each side.
