Before making the cucumbers lightly salted and firm, it is recommended to soak them in cold water for an hour.
Soon, we will have young potatoes with dill and butter on our table, as well as lightly salted cucumbers. How can we quickly prepare them if the desire arises in the morning and by evening we want to enjoy them?
The first and foremost thing is to choose the right cucumbers. The best ones are from a home garden. In any case, prefer medium-sized, young, and fresh cucumbers. If a cucumber has been sitting in the sun and has become limp, it will not be crispy.
Before making the cucumbers lightly salted and firm, it is best to soak them in cold water for an hour if they are freshly picked — for 20-30 minutes if they just came from the garden.
Ingredients:
1 kg of cucumbers;
0.5 tbsp of salt;
1-2 tbsp of vinegar;
2 tbsp of vegetable oil;
0.5 heads of garlic;
3 tbsp of herbs.
Preparation:
Cut the cucumbers into four pieces, place them in a bag, add salt, oil, vinegar, finely chopped garlic, and herbs.
Mix and place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
Done! Don’t believe it? Check it out.
