Unmatched Taste: 6 Cheese Dishes for True Gourmets

Cheese pairs wonderfully with a variety of products: meat, vegetables, bread, pasta, and even cereals. Buying a large piece of Parmesan is a safe bet: it can be added to various dishes to enhance their flavor. Cheese is also great on its own, as confirmed by original recipes where it is the key ingredient.

 

Melty and gooey, golden brown and crispy — cheese is good in any form. Even old Roquefort would be delighted by these recipes…

1. Cheese Wontons

Wontons are Chinese dumplings. To prepare them, you will need puff pastry. Form envelopes by placing a piece of cheese inside each one. Now for the fun part: fry the wontons in hot oil until golden brown. Serve this treat with honey-mustard sauce.

2. Pasta with Spinach

Boil the pasta. Chop the spinach and fresh artichokes — the more greens, the better. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic to the greens. To the pasta with greens, add grated Parmesan, Swiss cheese, mozzarella, and cream cheese — adjust the amount of cheese based on the volume of pasta. Place the mixture in a baking dish, pour cream over it, and bake in the oven for 30 minutes.

3. Pasta with Mozzarella

Boil the pasta. In a large pot with a thick bottom, pour a little olive oil and sauté grapes, tomatoes, and tomato paste in it. Add a little milk, then add the pasta. Place several balls of mozzarella cheese on top of the pasta, cover the pot with a lid for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese. You can add basil and mint leaves to the finished dish for a bright aroma and decoration.

Prepare a plain dough. Cut it into squares, placing a piece of cheese inside each square. In one bowl, mix melted butter with garlic, and in another, combine chopped parsley and grated Parmesan. Dip the balls in the butter, then in the cheese mixture, and place them on a baking sheet. Bake until golden brown.

5. Cheese Potato Pancakes

Everyone loves potato pancakes, and with cheese, they become especially delicious! Preheat the oven and grease a baking dish with butter. In a bowl, mix butter, cream, salt, pepper, onion, and grated soft cheese. Pour this mixture over the potato pancakes and bake until a crispy crust forms.

6. Cheese Cream Soup with Tomatoes

Sauté diced onions in olive oil. Add black and red pepper, Italian herbs, and tomato paste. Heat the mixture for a minute, then add parsley and canned tomatoes with juice. Season everything with basil and sugar. Simmer the soup on low heat for 15 minutes, sprinkle with grated cheese, and blend in a blender. This cream soup pairs perfectly with croutons and toast!
