The first meal fills you with energy, gives you strength to accomplish tasks, and kickstarts the digestive system. Therefore, it is worth avoiding sweets, pastries, and fatty foods, saving them for later.

The foundation of a proper breakfast consists of proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. They will help you wake up and will not create a feeling of heaviness in your stomach. Moreover, hunger will not bother you until lunch.

“One of my favorite breakfasts is quick and easy to prepare. It is delicious and perfect for those who are watching their figure, as it contains enough fats for good bile flow. Furthermore, you won’t feel hungry for at least 6 hours,” notes the doctor.

A Healthy Breakfast Recipe from a Doctor

We will prepare a familiar dish — an omelet. It will be complemented by toast with avocado.

You will need:

1 egg,

a couple of slices of cheese,

yeast-free bread,

ripe avocado,

leaves of your favorite greens,

seeds and nuts.

To prepare the omelet, crack the egg into a bowl and whisk it thoroughly with a whisk. Then pour the mixture into a heated pan and fry until cooked. Place the slices of cheese on top, which will melt and give the omelet a rich flavor.
