What Not to Eat for Breakfast: The Three Most Harmful Options

Researchers identified the three most harmful breakfasts and explained their negative impact.

 

English endocrinologists have concluded about the three most popular breakfast options. Specialists from Diabetes UK claim that a complete and nutritious breakfast can significantly improve blood sugar control. However, this does not happen if the morning starts with the following three options:

Ready-made breakfasts in the form of cereals, pillows, and rings, which children love.
Fried muesli, popular among young people.
Sandwiches on white bread.

“Fast carbohydrates in the morning (in addition to those listed, this also includes commonly consumed ready-made desserts, bars, juices, and fast food) provide instant energy, a boost of strength, and temporary satiety, but lack nutritional value,” explained nutritionist Daria Korableva. “Therefore, after such food, hunger and the desire to eat again arise quickly, which directly contributes to weight gain (fast carbohydrates are also very high in calories).”

What do specialists recommend? Replace cereals and muesli with oatmeal with fruits and berries or natural yogurt. And it's better to make sandwiches on whole grain bread.
