Should juice be consumed in winter? Experts' opinion: which juice will be beneficial

It is essential to adhere to the principles of proper nutrition not only in the summer when there are many fresh fruits and berries in the markets but also in winter. During the cold season, our body needs support: a lack of vitamins can negatively affect health. Therefore, experts recommend including foods that promote metabolism, such as legumes, sprouted grains, and vegetables, in the diet. In an effort to replenish the deficiency of important micronutrients, many start actively drinking juices. Nutritionists discuss how beneficial this is.

In fact, the situation is not so straightforward. Natural juices contain essential vitamins and minerals that help strengthen the immune system. This is especially relevant in winter when protection against flu and colds becomes particularly important.

However, juices often contain a large amount of sugar, which can lead to its accumulation in the body. Therefore, it is recommended to consume these drinks in moderation, avoiding excessive enthusiasm. Overconsumption can cause dental problems and even stomach disorders.

In winter, it is worth paying attention to the most beneficial options. First and foremost is orange juice, which is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. These components help fight colds, reduce inflammatory processes, and positively affect heart health.

Cranberry juice is also very beneficial in winter: it contains many antioxidants that improve digestion, help the body eliminate toxins, and protect against urinary tract infections.

Pay attention to the mixture of apple-beet-carrot juice. This cocktail is rich in beta-carotene and other important substances such as iron, potassium, magnesium, and folic acid. Additionally, it can help reduce swelling.
