Cuba's Foreign Minister: The U.S. is leaving international organizations to continue barbarism.
The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump is avoiding participation in international organizations in order to continue its "barbarism." This accusation was made by Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on his social media page X.
"They are withdrawing from spaces created to promote international law, sustainable development, gender equality, biodiversity, combating climate change, and racism — topics from which they shy away and prefer isolationism to continue their barbarism," he said.
According to him, this step by Washington is not surprising, as with Trump's arrival, the U.S. decided to "abandon multilateralism." The minister noted that the U.S. is refusing to fulfill its commitments to support developing countries and instead is increasing its military spending.
Earlier, Trump stated the unnecessary nature of international law. "I don’t need international law," Trump noted.
