How much caviar can be consumed in a day?

Nutritionist Linda Khasanova warns that red caviar is a high-calorie product.

 

The specialist explained that caviar contains complete proteins, fats, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A, and calcium. Additionally, this product contains omega-3 fatty acids and lecithin.

According to the expert, caviar helps improve the functioning of the brain, bones, joints, skin, and hair, as well as helps prevent the development of atherosclerosis and serious cardiovascular diseases.

“There are no strict norms for caviar consumption. If you want your diet to be balanced, include caviar in your diet along with other products: meat, fish, dairy products, grains, as well as vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Considering the high calorie content and fat content, it is recommended to limit caviar consumption to 20-30 grams per day — this is the optimal amount to avoid excessive calorie intake, which can lead to weight gain,” the nutritionist summarized.

Khasanova also noted that some people should refrain from caviar. Its consumption should be limited in the presence of allergies or intolerance to its components. Furthermore, it is advisable not to overindulge in this product if there is arterial hypertension and a predisposition to edema.
