Reproductive specialist G. Salaeva spoke about foods that contribute to increased male fertility.

According to the specialist, a number of conditions must be met for the formation of quality sperm. The number of spermatozoa depends on body temperature, hormone balance, and the intake of beneficial substances into the body.

The doctor noted that oysters and pumpkin seeds are rich in zinc. The latter are also high in magnesium, antioxidants, and healthy fats. Brazil nuts are rich in selenium, while eggs contain not only selenium but also vitamins D and B12.

Additionally, Salaeva recommended that men include more seafood in their diet — a source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are necessary for the formation of sperm membranes, and vitamin D, which regulates testosterone levels.

The expert also advised adding leafy greens, tomatoes, carrots, and avocados to the menu — foods that contain vitamins and antioxidants that improve sperm quality. To protect sperm from damage, the specialist recommended consuming turmeric and dark chocolate.
