Nutritionist M. Davlekamova named common dietary mistakes that lead to the depletion of the body.
The first mistake is ignoring breakfast or making the wrong food choices for it.
If the morning meal consists of quick carbohydrates, energy drops throughout the day are inevitable. Breakfast should include proteins, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats — this combination ensures stable blood glucose levels and a feeling of fullness for a long time.
The second mistake is not drinking enough water. It is essential for transporting nutrients and producing energy at the cellular level. A lack of fluid impairs cognitive functions and causes fatigue.
The third mistake is a deficiency of micronutrients in the diet. Most often, this refers to a lack of phosphorus, magnesium, and iron, which leads to a feeling of weakness. To replenish these substances, it is beneficial to include functional foods in the diet.
Finally, another mistake is the rejection of healthy fats. They are necessary for the normal functioning of the brain. Omega-3s found in fatty fish, flaxseeds, and walnuts support energy metabolism, the expert noted.
