In the Brazilian city of Limeira, a 21-year-old girl died on a bungee jumping attraction.
Instructors dropped her from a height of 40 meters, forgetting to fasten the safety rope.
In the video from social media, it can be seen that the rope is lying nearby while the girl is thrown into the abyss. Afterward, screams can be heard in the footage: "The rope, the rope!".
After the tragedy, three employees of the company were detained and charged with involuntary manslaughter. They could not provide a clear answer as to how this happened. They face a prison sentence of up to 12 years.
