Yesterday, June 10, a traffic accident occurred on the Jurmala Highway, in which a Mercedes collided with the rear of an Audi.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the Mercedes was a service worker who was delivering the car to the client after maintenance, reports Sadursme.lv.
The eyewitness claims that the driver was in a state of intoxication. According to him, a police check showed about 2.6 promille of alcohol in the driver's system.
State police officers arrived at the scene. The driver was detained.
