The tragic incident occurred on the afternoon of May 1. In our neighboring city, Mogilev, an 18-year-old intern died on the attraction, the country's Investigative Committee reported.
According to preliminary investigation data, an 18-year-old intern, who was training to become an amusement ride operator, failed to secure the working mechanism while assisting a visitor in safely exiting the carousel. At that moment, he was struck by a moving part of the attraction. As a result, he sustained a severe head injury from which he died. The main version, supported by objective data, is a violation of safety regulations.
