A recent study titled "Perception of Housing Security Among Residents of Latvia" found that the biggest risk to homes (43%) is theft.
To reduce this risk, nearly half (46%) of respondents consider reliable windows and doors to be sufficient protection. However, experts strongly advise complementing this protection with a door code and anti-burglary alarm systems.
