In the past 24 hours, four people were injured in two traffic accidents in the Riga region, the State Police reported to the LETA agency.
On Saturday, 68 traffic accidents were registered in the country, resulting in a total of six people injured. Most of the injured were in the capital and its surroundings, where four people, including one cyclist, were hurt in two accidents. In an accident in Latgale, a pedestrian was injured.
In the area of road traffic, 673 decisions were made regarding administrative offenses in one day, including 284 related to speeding and one for aggressive driving behavior.
