The Minister of the Interior, Janis Dombrova, responded on social media to statements from several public organizations expressing concern that the Minister of the Interior is not worried about a possible violation of international agreements when deporting immigrants.

"An organization supporting illegal immigrants is concerned that I advocate for the swift deportation of illegals. They are right to be! Not only will deportation be encouraged and border security strengthened, but I will also ensure that state and EU funds do not go to organizations working against the security of our country," wrote J. Dombrova.
