Силовики ФРГ поражены масштабом русского шпионажа.

The accused collected information online and filmed the workplace of the target.

German prosecutors reported that two individuals were arrested on suspicion of espionage in favor of the Russian Federation, during which they collected intelligence information about a person supplying drones and related components to Ukraine, Reuters writes.

Sergey N., a citizen of Ukraine, was arrested in Spain, while Alla S., a citizen of Romania, was arrested in Germany, according to a statement from the prosecutor's office, in which the full names of the suspects were redacted in accordance with German data protection laws.

"Since December 2025, Sergey N. had been surveilling a person in Germany on behalf of the Russian intelligence service. This person was supplying drones and related components to Ukraine," the statement said, referencing the charges outlined in the arrest warrant.

"For this purpose, the accused collected information online and filmed the workplace of the target. When Sergey N. moved to Spain, his assignment was taken over by Alla S. no later than March 2026," the statement added.

As previously reported by the Scottish police, the Iranian and the Romanian were charged after an attempt to infiltrate the British nuclear submarine base in Scotland.

The two, whom British media refer to as suspected Iranian spies, were arrested.
