A housing company from Mikkeli published a statement regarding the debt of former MP Ano Turtiainen and his spouse. The ex-parliamentarian owes about 2500 euros.
The meeting of the housing company decided to confiscate Turtiainen's property.
Property manager Eveliina Lukkarinen told Yle that they have no connection with the former MP.
He has been in Russia since the end of last year. Russia granted Turtiainen refugee status. In his video addresses, he stated that he does not intend to pay any debts to Finland, although he did not specifically address the issue of property.
Former Finnish parliament member Ano Turtiainen is avoiding criminal court for the second time, as the Helsinki district court was unable to contact him.
