As a result of a tragic road traffic accident in the Prauliena municipality of the Madona region, three people died, reported the State Police.
On Saturday, the State Police received information that a traffic accident involving BMW and Toyota Hilux vehicles occurred on the P62 Kraslava–Preili–Madona road near the village of Prauliena in the Madona region.
Two people died at the scene. Another person was taken to a local medical facility, where they died from their injuries.
The State Police is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
