In the past 24 hours, seven drivers of vehicles in a state of alcohol intoxication were detained on the roads of Latvia, according to data from the State Police.
Six of the detainees were in a state of severe alcohol intoxication, leading to criminal proceedings against them. In the Riga region, one driver was detained for aggressive driving.
On Sunday, 89 traffic accidents were registered, resulting in injuries to two people.
