The Ivanovo Regional Court will consider the appeal against the decision to transfer 50% of LLC 'Riga Bread,' owned by a citizen of Latvia, to the benefit of the Russian Federation on December 23, reports the website of the Russian Ministry of Justice.
This concerns the appeal of Normunds Bomis against the decision of the Ivanovo Regional Court dated August 18, 2025.
At that time, the court decided to confiscate this asset for the benefit of the state, prohibiting the activities of the association of foreign baking companies on the territory of Russia, whose members include a citizen of Latvia (Bomis) and a citizen of Ukraine (Tatyana Prikhodko), allegedly "in connection with the commission of extremist activities."
This involves TOV "Rizhskyi Khlib" (Ukraine), TOV "Khlibnyi Hurmán" (Ukraine), LLC "Lielezers" (Latvia), and the Ziedot fund (Latvia).
A closed court session is scheduled for 10:00 on December 23.
"By this notice, the aforementioned individuals are considered duly notified of the consideration of the above-mentioned administrative case," the notice states.
The absence of duly notified participants does not prevent the consideration of the case.
According to the Register of Enterprises, LLC "Riga Bread" was registered in the Rodniki District of Ivanovo Oblast in 2006. The main type of activity is the production of bread and flour confectionery, cakes, and pastries with a short shelf life. Previously, Bomis owned 50% of the charter capital of the LLC, while the remaining 50% belongs to a citizen of Russia, Sergejs Sirenko.
Following the court's decision, as of August 22, 50% of the charter capital of the LLC is owned by Rosimushchestvo.
Normunds Bomis himself previously commented to journalists: "I am a co-owner of the Russian bakery 'Riga Bread.' I have had no contact with the company since the beginning of the invasion. I am personally banned from entering the Russian Federation because I am from an unfriendly country and am a co-owner of a bakery in Ukraine."
