Official Moscow pursued Abakar Abakarov.

In Turkey, the body of the founder of the Telegram channel 'Morning of Dagestan', Abakar Abakarov, was found, according to RBC and the HaksozHaber portal. In Russia, the man had been declared wanted.

Abakarov's body, with stab wounds, was discovered at a villa rented for two days. The police suspect a man who entered the house with him of the murder. According to one version voiced by a source from the publication, the incident may be related to the collection of information for Abakarov's media resource.

HaksozHaber reports that the villa where Abakarov was allegedly murdered is located in the Eyupsultan district of Istanbul. It was rented on October 6. The next day, a man arrived there with the founder of 'Morning of Dagestan', who subsequently left the house with two bags.

The villa's cleaner found Abakarov's body in the hallway. Following her call, police and emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene. They determined that the man had been killed where he lay. After that, law enforcement began searching for the person who left the rented house.

The Dagestani diaspora in Turkey expressed condolences over Abakarov's death. "This is not just a tragedy; it is an attack on the freedom and dignity of the people," HaksozHaber quoted representatives as saying.

The day before, Dagestani media spread information about Abakarov's death. The Telegram channel 'Chernovik' reported that his friends and relatives suspected murder. A source from the publication 'Caucasian Knot' claimed that Abakarov had left Yalova for Istanbul a few days ago and "went out of contact".

"It was reported that he might have been detained by the police, but later he was found murdered. We do not know any other details at this time," noted a representative of the Dagestani diaspora in Istanbul.

According to him, Abakarov had allegedly received threats before, including death threats.

Blogger Hasan Gadzhiev stated that the founder of 'Morning of Dagestan' had been missing for "more than a week" and was being searched for by acquaintances. He mentioned that Abakarov had financial debts that he allegedly did not want to repay to creditors and urged them to forgive him.

Gadzhiev clarified that on October 18, Abakarov's relatives were planning to retrieve his body, according to 'Caucasian Knot'. This information has not been officially confirmed.
