Where is Fuel Cheaper: How Gasoline and Diesel Prices Changed in Riga, Vilnius, and Tallinn 0

During the past working week, gasoline and diesel prices decreased in the capitals of the Baltic states. Meanwhile, the cost of autogas changed in different directions: it increased in Riga and Tallinn, while it decreased in Vilnius.

Last working week, both gasoline and diesel prices decreased in the capitals of the Baltic states, according to data collected by the LETA agency.

By the end of the week, the highest price for 95 octane gasoline was recorded in Riga, followed by Tallinn and Vilnius. Diesel fuel was most expensive in Vilnius, then in Riga, while the lowest diesel prices were maintained in Tallinn.

In Riga, at the Circle K gas station on Krasta Street, the price of 95 octane gasoline decreased by 2.2% over the week and was €1.774 per liter on Friday. Diesel fuel dropped by 4.4% to €1.734 per liter.

In Vilnius, at the Circle K gas station on Savanoriu Avenue, the price of 95 octane gasoline was €1.664 per liter, which is 5.9% lower compared to the previous week. The price of diesel fuel decreased by 3.6% to €1.754 per liter.

In Tallinn, the price of 95 octane gasoline decreased by 1.7% to €1.729 per liter. Diesel dropped by 5.7% and cost €1.659 per liter.

The prices for autogas varied. In Riga, its cost increased by 2.1% to €0.975 per liter. In Tallinn, autogas became 0.9% more expensive, reaching €0.989 per liter. Meanwhile, in Vilnius, the price decreased by 2.2% to €0.899 per liter.

Thus, among the capitals of the Baltic states, the cheapest gasoline and autogas at the end of the week were in Vilnius, while the cheapest diesel was in Tallinn.
