During the past work week, fuel prices continued to rise in the capitals of the Baltic countries, with the most rapid growth recorded in Riga, according to aggregated data from the LETA agency.
At the end of the work week, the highest price for gasoline was in Tallinn, followed by Riga and Vilnius. Meanwhile, the most expensive diesel fuel was in Vilnius, followed by Riga, while the cheapest diesel fuel at the end of the work week was in Tallinn.
In Riga, at the "Circle K" gas station on Krasta Street, the price of 95 octane gasoline increased by 4.9% compared to the previous Friday, reaching €1.714 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of diesel fuel rose by 15.9% over the week, reaching €1.964 per liter on Friday.
In Vilnius, at the "Circle K" gas station on Savanoriu Avenue, the price of 95 octane gasoline was €1.687 per liter, which is 4.5% higher than a week ago, while the price of diesel fuel increased by 7.6%, reaching €1.994 per liter on Friday.
In Tallinn, at the "Circle K" gas stations, the price of 95 octane gasoline increased by 6.8% over the week, reaching €1.739 per liter on Friday, while diesel fuel cost €1.859 per liter, which is 6.9% higher than a week ago.
The price of autogas also rose in all capitals of the Baltic countries. The most rapid growth was in Riga, where the price of autogas increased by 6.4% over the week, reaching €0.995 per liter on Friday. In Vilnius, the price of autogas rose by 2.3% to €0.848, while in Tallinn it increased by 0.2% to €0.900 per liter.
