Szijjártó: Ukraine is blocking oil supplies from Russia to Hungary.
Ukrainian authorities are blocking oil supplies from Russia to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline. This was stated by Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó during a broadcast on Kossuth.
Szijjártó stated that the pipeline was not damaged as a result of recent strikes. "Technically, it is ready to resume supplies. Thus, there is only a political reason for the obstacles to its operation," the politician explained. He accused Ukraine of blocking the supplies.
Earlier, Szijjártó had stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had decided to block oil supplies to Hungary from Russia in order to create difficulties for the current Hungarian government ahead of parliamentary elections. He emphasized that Kyiv's actions constitute a "gross interference" in Hungarian elections.
