A Grim Future Predicted for the Global Economy

More than 50% of surveyed economists predicted a downturn in the global economy.

In 2026, the situation in the global economy is expected to worsen. This is the response of 55 percent of economists surveyed as part of the World Economic Forum (WEF).

Only 19 percent believe that the economy will strengthen. Another 28 percent do not expect significant changes. However, compared to last year's survey, when 72 percent of respondents anticipated a downturn, the sentiment among economists is improving.

Moreover, 54 percent of respondents stated that gold prices have already reached peak levels. Another 46 percent believe that this metal will continue to rise in price. Additionally, 62 percent predicted a decline in cryptocurrency values, while 54 percent expect the dollar to weaken.
