Profit: Romania has agreed to purchase the Moldovan Giurgiulești port.
Romania and Moldova have agreed on the purchase of the Giurgiulești port, the only access of Chișinău to the Black Sea. This was reported by the Moldovan television channel Profit.
"The purchase agreement, including the price of the deal, will now be subject to approval by the shareholders' meeting," the publication stated.
The Romanian state company has committed to invest at least 28 million dollars (two billion rubles) in the development of the port's infrastructure. The total value of the deal is 62 million dollars.
