According to sources from Axios, Ratcliffe told Trump and other senior officials that intelligence gathered by U.S. agencies raises serious doubts about Iran's willingness to make concessions in the nuclear sphere that the U.S. is seeking as part of any final agreement.
According to this data, allegedly "the way Iranian officials discussed the agreement among themselves did not match what they told intermediaries and the U.S.".
"Intelligence indicates that Iran's intentions do not align with its commitments under the terms of the agreement," one source claims.
Earlier, Trump announced the end of hostilities between the U.S. and Iran. The agreement is set to be signed on Friday in Switzerland. The U.S. leader announced that the Strait of Hormuz is already opening as the U.S. has lifted the blockade on Iranian vessels, and Tehran will not target oil tankers.
