In Brazil, three biological sisters have been officially recognized as the oldest currently living sister trio in the world, reports Need To Know.

The combined age of Lenita, Zoraida, and Zulina de Deus Nunes has reached 316 years. The oldest sister is 108 years old, the middle one is 104, and the youngest is 103.

The women were born in the state of Sergipe in the northeast of the country in a large family that raised eight children. The oldest sister, Lenita, was born in June 1917. In her youth, she was a homemaker and later moved to Rio de Janeiro, where she got a job at a national television channel.

Zoraida, born in November 1921, dedicated herself to education and medicine. She initially worked as an elementary school teacher and then became a nurse after graduating from a prestigious institution.

The youngest sister, Zulina, was born in March 1923. She became famous as a talented embroidery artisan and managed to provide education for all six of her children.

Despite their advanced age, the sisters continue to maintain close relationships and remain virtually inseparable.
