U.S. President Donald Trump stated that journalists spreading information about the restoration of Iran's military capabilities are committing treason. He announced this in his post on the social network Truth Social.
The American leader's reaction came after reports surfaced that Tehran had restored access to most missile bases and retained about 70% of its pre-war arsenal of launchers and missiles.
According to Trump, the authors of such news are "cowards" who are rooting against their own country. Trump's direct quote: "When Fake News states that the Iranian enemy is having success against us militarily, it is actually TREASON, as it is such a false and even absurd statement. They are aiding and abetting the enemy! It only gives Iran false hope where there should be none.
These are American cowards who are rooting against our Country. Iran had 159 ships in its Navy — now every single ship rests at the bottom of the sea. They have no Navy, their Air Force is destroyed, all Technology is lost, their 'leaders' are no longer with us, and the Country is an Economic Catastrophe.
Only Losers, Ungrateful and Fools are capable of arguing against America!"
