The Czech Republic granted permission for Fico's plane to fly to Moscow on May 9.
This was reported by the representative of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Adam Čerge.
"The Slovak side sent a standard request for permission for the flight [of Fico's plane] to the Czech Republic, and it was issued without delay," the Novinky portal quoted him as saying.
Fico plans to visit Moscow on May 9 to participate in commemorative events, including laying flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Also on the agenda is a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
