Israel reacted to suspicions of transporting stolen Ukrainian grain: Foreign Ministry demands evidence

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, responding to Ukraine's concerns about a vessel with allegedly stolen grain, emphasized that Israeli authorities will strictly adhere to the letter of the law.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made a statement in response to Ukraine's warning. It concerned the possible admission of a vessel that, according to Kyiv, is transporting stolen Ukrainian grain.

Saar emphasized that all Israeli authorities will act strictly within the law. He also noted that no evidence has yet been provided to support the allegations made.

Minister's Statement

Foreign Minister Gideon Saar expressed his position on the social network X. He pointed out the inappropriateness of conducting diplomatic relations through the media space.

Direct speech: "Diplomatic relations, especially between friendly nations, are not conducted on Twitter or in the media. Accusations are not evidence. Evidence supporting the allegations has not yet been provided. You have not even submitted a request for legal assistance before turning to the media and social networks. The matter will be considered."

Commitment to the Law

Minister Saar added that Israel firmly adheres to the principles of the rule of law. Independent law enforcement agencies operate in the country.

He reiterated that "all Israeli authorities will act in accordance with the law." This underscores the seriousness of the approach to any allegations.
