In a recent interview with Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump commented on the current geopolitical situation, addressing issues of possible support for Iran from China as well as the conflict in Ukraine.
In response to a journalist's question about whether China is assisting Iran, Trump expressed doubt that this support is significant. He noted that Beijing "could be helping much more," and reminded of his good relations with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his presidency.
Reflecting on international support, the president drew a parallel with the actions of the United States and touched on the topic of military aid to Ukraine. According to Trump, the U.S. should not have provided assistance to Kyiv "on such a large scale."
Trump once again emphasized that a full-scale conflict would never have started if he had remained in office. He called the situation in Ukraine a "terrible situation" and a "bloodbath," highlighting the enormous number of soldiers dying.
