Donald Trump jokingly remarked at the National Republican Committee dinner that Iran allegedly offered him to become their next Supreme Leader.
This is reported by several media outlets citing the president's speech during the annual dinner of the National Republican Congressional Committee.
According to the U.S. president, he responded with a firm refusal. "They said, 'We want you to be our leader.' And I replied, 'No, thank you, I'm not interested,'" Trump shared with his party members. He added that in world history, it is unlikely that there is anyone who would want to hold that position less than he does.
