Iran has officially sent its response to the US peace proposal through intermediaries. This was reported by the Tasnim news agency, citing a source.

It is clarified that Tehran is now awaiting a response from Washington. In particular, Iran set conditions for the US in its response, stating that "aggression and terror" must cease.

The regime also demanded the creation of objective conditions to prevent the conflict from recurring. Additionally, Iran demanded guarantees, compensation for damages, and the cessation of strikes on all fronts, including against Iranian proxies in the region.

According to a source, Iran demanded recognition of its sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.

As reported by Mignews, the day before, media spread information that Iran rejected the peace plan of US President Donald Trump, which consisted of 15 points. The document addressed the future regime of navigation in the strategically important Strait of Hormuz.

Most of the points concerned Iran's controversial nuclear program. One of the central issues was the transfer of about 440 kg of highly enriched uranium located in Iran to international control.
