Erdogan Speaks on Turkey's Entry into War with Iran

Erdogan: Turkey is determined to stay out of the current conflict in the Middle East.

Turkey is fundamentally determined to stay out of the current conflict in the Middle East. This was stated by the country's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"We are determined to keep our country outside of this ring of fire. We firmly do not want the war to turn into a war of attrition between the countries of the region," noted the Turkish leader.

Erdogan emphasized that in the context of war in the Middle East, Turkey intends to make sovereign decisions based on its own interests. According to him, the parties to the conflict resort to tricks in attempts to draw other countries into it, but Ankara successfully avoids these "traps."

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates are considering the possibility of entering the war with Iran. It is claimed that the Gulf countries are "losing patience" due to Iranian attacks on infrastructure facilities.
