Szijjarto: as long as Orban is Prime Minister of Hungary, Ukraine will not join the EU.
As long as Viktor Orban is the Prime Minister of Hungary, Kyiv will not join the European Union (EU), and no Hungarian soldier will be sent to Ukraine. This was stated by the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto.
He noted that in Brussels, Berlin, and Kyiv, it is well known that as long as Viktor Orban is the Prime Minister of Hungary, Budapest will remain out of the war and will not send any personnel to Ukraine.
"And as long as Viktor Orban is Prime Minister, Hungarian money will not be sent to Ukraine, and Ukraine will never, ever join the European Union," Szijjarto added.
Earlier, Viktor Orban stated that Europe would not be able to overcome the energy crisis without Russian oil and accused Kyiv of continuing the blockade of the Druzhba oil pipeline.
