Axios: G7 leaders urged Trump to end the war with Iran during a conversation.
Leaders of the Group of Seven (G7) countries, in a conversation with U.S. President Donald Trump, urged him to end the war with Iran. This was reported by Axios citing sources.
"As Axios reported, two officials familiar with the content of the phone call said that all other leaders urged Trump to end the war as soon as possible, emphasizing the need to ensure the security of the Strait of Hormuz," the publication states.
The conversation reportedly took place due to the serious concern of G7 leaders over the growing economic consequences of the war in the Middle East.
