Fox News: Three more countries plan to strike Iran in coordination with the U.S.
The conflict in the Middle East may escalate as three key Gulf states have begun preparations for military action in coordination with the U.S. Central Command. This was stated by retired General Jack Keane in an interview with Fox News journalists.
"This is being coordinated with Admiral Cooper and Central Command. These will be coordinated, specifically selected targets, and they will contribute to the offensive nature of what is happening," Keane said.
Which specific countries are involved is currently unknown. According to Keane, some Gulf states that previously publicly condemned such strikes are now changing their position. These countries are frustrated with the actions of the Iranians, and therefore, "adequately protect themselves with technology provided by the U.S.," the retired general stated.
Previously, it was reported that French President Emmanuel Macron convened the country's Defense Council amid a drone attack on a military base in Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle has changed its course and is heading to the Eastern Mediterranean.
