On Saturday, at least three explosions were heard in Dubai (UAE), and a fire broke out at the entrance to the Fairmont The Palm hotel on the famous Palm Jumeirah island, reports The Independent, citing LETA referencing AFP.

The fire started after debris fell from the sky during a missile attack by Iran, reports Sky News.

Videos of the fire have been published on social media.

In response to an attack by Israel and the U.S. on Saturday, Iran struck U.S. military facilities in Gulf countries, including the UAE.

One or more missiles hit a U.S. Navy base in Bahrain, and intercepted missiles were also reported in Qatar and the UAE.

Dubai's media office confirmed that there was an "incident" in a building on Palm Jumeirah Island. As a result, a fire broke out and four people were injured.
